The iX uses two powerful electric motors and BMW xDrive electric all-wheel drive to take you from 0-100 km/h in less than 5 seconds. The 516 hp* powertrain is a force to be reckoned with, offering outstanding electric performance for the racer within. The sports car torque and stepless acceleration allow the iX to respond precisely and spontaneously to every movement, leaving you remarkably confident on any journey you choose to take.

CHARGING ON THE ROAD FOR A RANGE OF 100KM

Road-trip approved, the iX can be topped off on the go. DC Fast Chargers are recommended - a typical 50kW charger can deliver up to 100km of range per 22 minutes. A 150 kW DC Fast Charger can get the same results in only 7 minutes.

To find convenient charging points, the BMW iDrive and the My BMW App have you covered, providing thousands of public charging locations from coast to coast. You can also toggle charging stations by operators and both Level 2 AC and Level 3 DC Fast Charging points.

At the heart of the iX, the new BMW iDrive user interface connects you to your vehicle and the outside world, controlling all the vehicle’s features and infotainment seamlessly. Using the intelligent digital assistant, the iX reacts to your voice and gestures to make your drive as pleasant as possible. Thanks to its new digital innovation, the iX offers ultra-modern connectivity and is the very first vehicle with 5G standard.

To ensure your peace of mind, many driver and assistance systems come standard. For example, Driving Assistant Professional equips the iX with several semi-autonomous driving aids, such as Steering and lane guidance assist with extended functions, Emergency steer assist and Lane-keeping assistant with side collision warning.

Parking Assistant Plus also comes standard, providing parallel parking assistance with the touch of a button. With a large number of cameras to give you a full display of objects in your surroundings, maneuvering your vehicle has never been easier.

EXTERIOR

The radically proportioned surfaces and dramatic lines give the BMW iX its unique monolithic shape. Every detail is striking, blending seamlessly into each other, giving the vehicle an appearance of being created from a single mould. The aerodynamic design of the panels, window outlines that taper towards the rear, flush handles and frameless doors all speak to the BMW spirit, working coefficiently to improve the vehicle’s range.
