CHARGING YOUR i4
HOME CHARGING FOR UP TO 400KM
Charging your battery at home couldn’t be easier. For optimum charging, you can install the recommended BMW Wallbox which is equipped with a charging capacity of 9.6kW, charging your coupe in 8.05 hours. Similarly, a Flexible Fast Charger is also available, charging your i4 in 8.05 hours with a charging capacity of 9.6kW. A full charge of 475km can be reached with either option, however, the wait time does increase to 9.5 hours.
CHARGING ON THE MOVE FOR A RANGE OF 100KM
On longer journeys, you may need to quickly charge your battery to complete your trip. DC Fast Chargers are the best way to achieve this - a typical 50kW charger can deliver up to 100km of range per 22 minutes. A 150 kW DC Fast Charger can get the same results in only 7 minutes.
