Performance
The 240 kW motor, with one-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, offers 322 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The 76.60 kWh electric battery has a range of 322 km with an 11.0 kW onboard charger and a charging time of 81 hours at 120 volts.
Technology
The infotainment system is a 12.3-inch colour touchscreen, offering Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A voice-activation system for audio, phone and navigation is also included. The audio system provides a surround-sound experience via twelve speakers. FM and satellite radios, USB ports and Bluetooth are also provided. WiFi Network and a wireless charging pad are standard features. The instrument panel is reconfigurable with a TFT screen, and Smart Key Keyless Start technology is also included.
Design Elements
Automatic LED projector headlights with high beams and 20-inch alloy wheels add to the 2024 BMW iX’s exterior appeal. The rain-sensing windshield wipers and cornering lights with curb illumination are standard features. The door mirrors are power-adjustable with heating and auto-dimming settings. The interior seating is upholstered in synthetic leather.
The power-adjustable front seat has a heating option, and the rear-view mirror includes an auto-dimming feature. The rear seating is designed with a 40/20/40 split. The triple-zone automatic climate control includes a cabin filter and a remote app control function. The cargo dimensions offer up to 1,750 litres of storage space when the seats are folded down. This BMW SUV can tow up to 5,500 pounds.
Safety Features
Feel secure while driving with eight front, side, side curtain, and knee airbags. Standard safety features include the Anti-Collision System, the Blind Spot Monitor, the Lane Departure Warning, and the Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. The Hill Holder and Low Tire Pressure Monitor system are also included.
