The M4 lineup in Canada has remained the same.

Infotainment and Technology Features
The M4 has a superb infotainment system that runs on a 12.3-inch touchscreen. A vast array of control options allow the user to adjust settings and navigate the menus using voice commands, a large rotary controller, buttons on the centre console or buttons on the steering wheel. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard features, as is the Harmon/Kardon audio system.
Many options are available, such as gesture controls, a wireless charging pad and a subscription Wi-Fi hotspot. The Premium Package includes valuable features such as remote boot opening, BMW's drive recording functionality, M Drive Professional, Digital Cockpit Pro, and 360-degree cameras.
Exterior Design
This distinctive sports car comes in a range of stunning colours that complement its unique appearance. This car shouts performance from the upright BMW kidney-shaped grille to the tailpipe trims. The optional Carbon Package will give several accents to the exterior.
Interior Comfort and Cargo Space
The M4 Coupe has a comfortable cabin suited to long-distance GT driving. It has several unique materials and race-inspired touches. The steering wheel has a thick rim and two red buttons, which are used to customize the M options. Many carbon-fibre features can be added as options to upgrade the cabin further. Long-handled paddle shifters can be fitted to the steering column.
The leather-trimmed M series seats are comfortable, offer a large bolster, and can be ventilated for the first time. The integrated headrest and an illuminated logo add interest.
The Coupe has plenty of GT characteristics, so driving it long distances will be easy. The trunk will hold 440 litres of cargo or between two and four suitcases. The M4 Cabriolet offers a slightly smaller space, holding 385 litres.
Performance Features
The M4 Coupe is driven by an extraordinary twin-turbo 3.0-litre inline-six, making 473 horsepower and 406 lb-ft torque. This model has a six-speed manual transmission that drives the rear wheels.
Add a further 30 horses and 73 lb-ft torque, and you get the M4 Competition Coupe, driven through an eight-speed automatic. The Competition Coupe gets an upgraded chassis and a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system. The Competition Cabriolet has the same engine and drivetrain as the Competition Coupe.
The M4 has an adjustable brake-pedal feel, adaptive M suspension and an electronically managed exhaust system that increases decibel levels when selecting Sport and Sport Plus driving modes. The loudness of the exhaust can be muted using the M Sound button.
Safety and Driver Assistance
The safety of both drivers and passengers is a top priority for BMW, so the M4 comes with a full range of driver assistance and safety aids. These include adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane management, and side, front, knee and overhead airbags.
